Fone.Net Internet Guarantee: Blanca Telephone Company
The following describes Blanca Telephone Company's responsibilities and commitments to its Fone.Net customers relative to getting them established on the Internet.

DEFINITION:
A Fone.Net customer will be considered "connected" to the Internet when that customer has the capability to
  1. Receive and Send E-Mail and
  2. Is able to "access" Web Pages on servers other than Fone.Net's server.
The software on or the hardware comprising the customer's system does NOT define this ability. In other words, the customer is technically connected when an Email has been received, an Email has been sent, and both a local and a non-local Web Page have been viewed.


GUARANTEE:
Blanca Telephone Company will do whatever is necessary to establish a customer's initial connection to the Internet or will refund all fees and monies paid by the new customer to that point given that the following conditions are met:
  1. The modem and phone lines are fully operational; and
  2. There are no pre-existing software configurations or setups that conflict with or prevent the software from installing and/or configuring properly.
Blanca Telephone Company will provide software, documentation, and whatever interactive support is required to provide the customer access to the Internet given that all of the preceding conditions are met.


DISCLAIMER:
Blanca Telephone Company is not responsible for the following (this is not necessarily all inclusive):
  1. Operating System and/or software problems not directly connected to the Fone.Net software
  2. Hardware problems and/or troubleshooting
  3. The results of allowing a friend or a friend's friend come work on your system either before or after the initial Fone.Net "connection" has been established
  4. Modifications and/or changes made by the customer to a system after the initial Internet "connection" has been established
  5. Educating and/or training the customer on the Internet or the software used to access it


COMMITMENT:
Despite the preceding disclaimer, BTC (Blanca Telephone Company) is committed to providing the best Customer Support possible. However, because BTC has experienced a small number of customers who have made demands that were unreasonable BTC has found it necessary to write this document in order to protect itself economically. Unfortunately, it has become necessary to define where our obligation ends and BTC's "extra-mile" support begins. Blanca Telephone Company is committed to providing the best support in the valley. We will do our best to help you.
